Radiographer NCT CMA – Family Care Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Radiographers. *Sign-On Bonus for Eligible New Hires* Work location: 580 South Denton Tap Road Coppell TX 75019 Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly. Monday-Wednesday 7:00am-6:00pm, Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm, Friday 7:00am-4:30pm (Schedule based on clinic need) Family Care Department highlights: Fast paced environment that provides growth and development opportunities. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field.Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.Excellent written and verbal communication. What You Will Do NCT:

Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients, self and other staff from radiation hazards.

Takes X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients.

Processes film and checks X-ray for clarity of image, retakes when necessary. Distributes X-ray to appropriate medical staff.Implements infection control procedures in the work area. CMA:Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures.Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider.Obtains and records vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem.Administers ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration.May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis as well as perform routine tests such as EKG Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.
