Job Description

We are implementing a new dynamic Sales Development Team. This team is essential for ensuring that the sales process runs smoothly by feeding qualified leads into the pipeline, enabling sales teams to focus on converting those leads into customers. It is an integral part in the sales process, primarily focused on generating and qualifying leads to ensure that the sales team can close deals more efficiently.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team in our Coppell office. The SDR will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, initiating outreach, and setting appointments for the sales team to close deals. As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact with potential clients and play a pivotal role in driving the sales pipeline and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients (prospects) through various channels including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and prospect databases.

  • Use tools like LinkedIn, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and other prospecting software to find leads and enrich data.

  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to engage with prospects, introduce our company’s solutions, and schedule appointments with Account Executives.

  • Follow up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns or website inquiries.

  • Qualify leads by identifying the potential for a sales opportunity, based on criteria such as budget, authority, need, and timing (BANT).

  • Use effective questioning techniques to understand client pain points and match the company’s product offerings to their needs.

  • Schedule meetings between prospects and the Sales Team to discuss how the company’s product or service can meet their needs.

  • Provide necessary information to the Account Executives to ensure smooth transitions for follow-up calls and sales presentations.

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and interactions in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly outreach activities, meeting goals, and KPIs.

  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing.

  • Share insights and feedback from prospects with the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and improve messaging.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service, preferably in a B2B environment.

  • Strong background in B2B sales, lead generation, and CRM management.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to build rapport and engage prospects.

  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve goals.

Attributes:

  • Resilience and ability to handle rejection.

  • A proactive and goal-oriented mindset.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is also considered.

Working Environment:

  • This position may require occasional travel, depending on company needs.

  • The role is typically based in an office environment, but remote or hybrid work options may be available.
