Under operational direction, provides administrative support to the Director of Student Account Services. Provides a high level of quality customer service to all students, parents and external departments. Maintain relationships with vendors and expedites payments to same. Reports directly to Associate Director, Student Account Services – Customer Service.

  • Learn the PeopleSoft Student Financials Module

  • Provide students with financial information to assist them with their financial registration

  • Provide assistance and resolution to customer disputes

  • Must apply professional judgment responsibly when judgment deviates from established policies and procedures

  • Be a team player and work with all OSAS staff members to ensure efficiency in all areas of the operation

  • Provide customer service via telephone, e-mail and walk-in traffic

  • Manage the process of reproducing IRS Form 1098-T for students and parents upon request

  • Other projects as assigned

  • Recruit, hire, train and supervise student employees

  • Manage daily office functions including ordering supplies, processing AP, Workday, check requisitions & purchase orders

  • Submit payments for University PO Boxes and postage meter in Check Distribution

  • Coordinate procurement activities with vendors and maintenance needs with facilities & telecommunications

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or a related field.

One (1) year experience in a financial and customer service related position

• Must possess critical thinking skills, exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities

• Excellent verbal, written, organizational and presentation skills
