Job Description

A client/employer in Cordova, TN is seeking an Information Security Engineer. This person will be responsible for setting up and fine-tuning their SIEM and WSUS tools, incident response, and maintenance/management of these tools. They will also be responsible for patching and rebooting these tools on schedule. They may also develop threat models, research threats, write reports, implement new security tools, perform risk assessments, and make recommendations to management. Their main responsibilities will be implementing new baseline security tools and incident response.

Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience as an Information Security Admin or Engineer. They should have experience with the following: WSUS or similar patching tool such as SCCM, LanGuard, SolarWinds; Event Logging/Response - SIEM or similar tool such as Splunk or CrowdStrike; O365 Security Center, Patching/Remediation, and Secret Server or similar tool such as CyberArk. Ideally, this candidate will have a wide range of expertise in IT Security. Good personality and communication are pluses, as culture is very important to the company. A wide range of knowledge in IT is also a plus, as this position will eventually be all-encompassing in IT Security. null
