Purpose of the Position:

The Measurement and Control Leader will oversee the measurement, testing, and control processes used in technical manufacturing.

 

 *Required Education, Experience and Skills: *

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering field
  • 7-10 minimum years of experience working in engineering or manufacturing
  • Strong technical expertise in instrumentation, metrology, process control systems, and data acquisition techniques.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and regulatory requirements applicable to measurement and control processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

     

     Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and data analysis tools for processing and analyzing measurement data.

  • Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC) is desirable.
  • Able to communicate well with all levels IE.  engineers, production associates, and managers.
  • Self-motivated, good presentation skills , able to handle multiple priorities.
