Role Purpose

Provides administrative and clerical duties for individual(s) in an organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handles a detail of items that are routine in nature on a daily basis for team of corporate attorneys

  • Gathers information independently using established and well-defined procedures

  • Takes initiative to identify and propose remedies to problems to increase efficiency of work flow

  • Ensures office coverage during normal business hours

  • Maintains attorneys’ calendar, phone and travel details

  • Event Planning: Offsite meetings/events, recognition, team building

  • Processes expense reports using Concur and makes travel arrangements

  • Manages and maintains supplies for office

  • Initiates and manage purchase order processes and procedures

  • Provides administrative back up support within organization

  • Ensures efficient and effective administrative information and assistance

Experiences/Education - Required

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in Administrative Assistant roles

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written

  • Solid organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail, focus on error-free work and follow up to ensure tasks are complete

  • Motivated, self-starter, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to work independently and seek assistance as needed

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Maintain professional composure and demeanor at all times

  • Ability to grow network within Corning

  • Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment

This position does not support immigration sponsorship.

The range for this position is $45,538.00 - $62,615.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
