This position is for our dynamic Fortune 500 partner in the Corning Valley.Vacation and Benefits package available.This is a 5 month assignment with possibility of extension.NOTE Micro Solutions is unable to provide sponsorship or to meet other employer work visa requirements. We work W2 only. All candidates must be willing to undergo a background screening.Education: HS diploma or GED. Two-year degree preferredGeneral Description:Supports CET Customer Service team. Provides order management support to business customers (order entry, order maintenance, logistics, inventory review, price updates, etc.) and support metrics.Delivers professional, first line inter-face for customer correspondence including providing conflict resolution.Maintains records of customer profiles and prepares status reports.Position acts as a liaison between customer and business.Identify and act on supply issues to minimize impact to the customer.Required Skills/Experience:Strong attention to detail, experienced at building relationships and working across many different areas.Ability to negotiate and resolve issues across multiple functions.Demonstrates strong excel skills.Desired Skills/Experience:PeopleSoft 8.0 supply chain (order entry, billing, shipping) or equivalent system, experience working with customers and freight forwarders.Desired/Required Soft Skills:Team player, clear and concise communications skills, patience, ability to remain calm in stressful situations, attentiveness and has a positive attitude, is dependable and punctual.Preference will be given to candidates with:1+ year customer service experience and outstanding Microsoft Excel skills
