We are currently recruiting for a Pre-Qualification & Sales Support Specialist to be based in our Corporate office which is located in Columbia, MD. As a Pre-Qualification & Sales Support Specialist for Structural Group, you will be accountable supporting the Sales Operations teams in the following capacity:
Adhere to and stays informed of all standard Company procedures and tools when putting together prequalification packets.
Collaborates with corporate departments on all Company required information from clients, and any changes from clients to ensure compliance and approval status
Determines all Company prequalifications requirements and maintains client approvals in the database. Manages the approvals and compliance for third party accounts
Ensure data integrity by verifying and working with internal team and clients for all required information that is included in prequalifications
Establishes relationships with required prequalification vendors and client officials as necessary
Gathers prequalification requirement information and communicates qualification requirements to business lines and leadership teams
Identifies facility changes, develops action plans and proactively facilitates execution of those plans
Maintains prequalification requirements in database. Monitors, updates and trains others on the use of CRM database tool for prequalifications
Manages third Party Contractor Screening programs (ISNetworld, PICS, BROWZ, PEC)
Plans, coordinates, and implements all phases of moderately complex reporting and data analysis
Before and during the course of the approval process with the client, individual must be diligent and proactive with internal teams, to understand how the qualifications are progressing, what changes need to occur on the qualification and how the timing of each prequalification effects upcoming work with the business lines. Assists internal teams in identifying needs and developing solutions to address these needs.
Updates annual Certificates of Insurance
Works with the business development, operations, and clients to determine prequalification requirements
Supports proposal development process as requested
Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years of experience in coordination and facilitation of process flow and data management.
Strong facilitation skills to assimilate client and sub-contractor pre-qualification requirements.
Effective written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other employees and customers
Ability to resolve complex problems in a quickly changing open team environment
Demonstrates ability to maintain confidentiality
Proven ability to plan and organize efficiently and effectively
Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and familiarity with MS Access.
