About the Position: This job provides the opportunity to support the mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot which is to repair, modify, test and modernize helicopters. Responsibilities Select and research appropriate technical bulletins pertaining to designated TMDE to identify calibration requirements and level of calibration or repair. Identifies TMDE requiring evacuation to area calibration labs or other TMDE support centers. Monitor computer status listings to determine those jobs which are approaching or have been in the test measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) Support Center for an excessive period of time. Receive, review, and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence and other reference material to units and individuals in accordance with established procedures. Receive a variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) for cyclic calibration and repair as prescribed by the Army's Calibration Program Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or education requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) coordinating and controlling equipment flow; (2) monitoring machine/status listings, reviewing data, and preparing reports; and (3) performing administrative functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
