*Job description: Workers will perform various tasks in vineyard operations, including pruning, planting, cultivating vines, and harvesting grapes. Perform vineyard canopy management to permit light and air circulation around grapevines, including thinning fruit and removing shoots and vines. Perform vineyard maintenance activities, such as weed control, installing, maintaining, and tying vines to trellises, and moving irrigation pipes. Workers will also assist in moving harvested fruit from the field to the processing area. Other duties may include vineyard cleanups, such as picking roots, removing rocks and other debris, mulching, cutting shoots and suckers, raking cuttings and debris, pulling or cutting weeds around vines, cleaning and clearing fence rows, and general exterior property maintena Workers will also perform duties including boxing, weighing, and loading products. Workers should be able to work on their feet in bent positions for long periods. Work requires repetitive movements and extensive walking. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, insect spray, and related chemicals may affect a worker's ability to perform the job. Workers are exposed to wet weather early in the morning through the day's heat, working in fields with temperatures ranging from 32 to 100 F. Workers should be physically able to do the necessary work, including the ability to lift buckets weighing up to 35 lbs. Work days may include Saturdays and Sundays. Must pick 10-bushel bags of fruit per hour for job retention. One (1) month of experience in pruning and fruit harvesting is required. Previous experience driving a tractor is a plus. The employer will provide no training and allow zero days for the worker to reach the production standards.

*Schedule: Monday-Saturday Sunday-off

*Anticipated period of employment: 2/20/2025 to 11/3/2025

** Effective 1/1/25, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers.
