The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of diverse projects requiring technical knowledge and expertise. They will use project management tools including VES (it/engineering/scientific) and lead, coordinate, and facilitate cross-functional technical teams with direct and dotted line reporting to achieve project goals in support of the company’s goals and annual operating plan. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will track, communicate, and report on the issues and status updates for projects.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the Company location in Cortland, NY with 3 or more days in office per week.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage multiple projects at one time with team, cross-functional teams including scope, schedule, and cost

  • Provide support to Sales during budget and proposal phase of projects on strategies for success

  • Review and comment on contract specifications during the proposal phase of the project

  • Review purchase orders and contracts as well coordinate order entry and purchase order approval process

  • Maintain and improve project variable contribution margins through effective change management

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 4 year degree in a business or technical field or equivalent experience in a technical field (product, design, drafting) with 15 or more years of experience in project management

  • Knowledge of project life cycle

  • Experience working with cross-functional technical discipline teams

  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Experience in customer relations and negotiations

A work and travel permit to the US is a requirement for this position.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $110000 - $115,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
