Job Title: Welder 20-30HRLY (test into pay)

Job Description

Operate welding equipment to fuse metal segments using various welding processes such as gas tungsten arc welding, flux-cored arc welding, and plasma arc welding. This position is no less than 20$HR and will require someone who is comfortable with mostly MIG Welding. Those who have experience with Soldering, Brazing, Arc Welding etc. is a plus. Candidates interested should possess good tenure and (1-2) Professional References.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements and follow process procedures.

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux-cored arc welding, plasma arc welding, shielded metal arc welding, oxy-acetylene welding, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding.

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.

  • Operate brazing and soldering equipment.

  • Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening or bending machines.

  • Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.

  • Regularly report to work on time and prepared to perform all tasks as outlined in the job description and/or assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to operate brazing and soldering equipment

  • Experience with metal shaping machines such as brakes and shears

  • Capability to repair worn parts of metal products by welding

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
