Corporate Accountant

The Corporate Accountant will be part of the team responsible for 606 revenue accounting, the month-end close process, preparation and tie-out of SEC filings, internal controls, and various special projects. This position and related activities will require interfacing with all levels of Operations, Corporate, and Accounting personnel on a regular basis.

Job Summary

  • Involvement in the ASC 606 revenue accounting process, including determination of 606 revenues and disclosures.

  • Responsible for general accounting activities, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and accounting related analysis, as assigned.

  • Assist with the maintenance of accounting software systems and reports

  • Assist with preparation of support for 10-K and 10-Q disclosures and the tie-out process.

  • Assist with maintaining effective internal controls in accordance with SOX 404 requirements.

  • Support internal and external audit activities.

  • Provide support and/or accounting guidance to other departments or sites, as needed

  • Participate in special projects, as needed.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.

  • Experience with SEC reporting is preferred.

  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with all Microsoft Office software.

  • Attention to detail as needed to ensure accuracy of financial information.

  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

    Required Experience and Education

  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.

  • CPA or CPA candidate.

  • Knowledge of internal controls and SOX 404 requirements.

  • OneStream experience is a plus.

  • Manufacturing company experience is a plus.
