About the Role

As the Director of Business Intelligence, you will manage a team of analysts to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive data and reporting solutions. This role requires a strategic approach to enhancing our products, services, and marketing strategies through actionable insights. You'll be working closely with various business units to ensure that our BI solutions are not only effective but also aligned with the credit union's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the BI Analysts in the development and delivery of insightful reports and dashboards.

  • Implement and refine the overall strategy for the business intelligence function to align with organizational goals.

  • Manage BI project backlogs and sprints using Agile methodology, ensuring effective capture and scoping of requirements.

  • Act as a liaison between BI analysts and business units to tailor BI solutions that meet organizational needs.

  • Evaluate, select, and implement BI tools and technologies, managing the transition from Tableau to PowerBI.

  • Oversee the data management in the Data Warehouse, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.

  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethics, promoting a culture of accountability and ethical conduct across the organization.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

  • 6-8 years of related experience, including at least 2 years in a BI management role.

  • Strong proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, MS-SQL, Excel, and other analytics software such as R and Python.

  • Experience in the credit union or financial services sector is required.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
