SUMMIT CREDIT UNION VP Vendor Risk Management in COTTAGE GROVE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description At Summit Credit Union, we\'re dedicated to empowering our members, making financial management effortless, and adding a touch of fun to the mix! We\'re on the lookout for a VP - Vendor & Risk Management to identify and manage vendor risks, ensuring they align with our credit union\'s risk tolerance. This position is responsible for our business continuity, incident response, and records management, safeguarding our operations and our members\' and employees trust. Why Summit? Expected Outcomes Risks are proactively identified, managed in accordance with the credit union\'s risk tolerance, and effectively communicated in a timely manner. Third-party agreements contain language necessary to manage our risk to an acceptable level, hold third-parties accountable for meeting our business requirements/service levels, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The Vendor Management, Business Continuity and Incident Response programs will be developed, maintained, and tested in alignment with industry guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance. Records will be retained efficiently, securely, and in alignment with best practices and regulatory guidance. Staff members have clear goals, receive constructive feedback, and receive necessary training and development. Work is properly prioritized in a manner that meets/exceeds stakeholder expectations. Collaboration exists with stakeholders to develop creative solutions for managing risk within the credit union\'s risk tolerance. Relationships are fostered with internal and external stakeholders. Capability Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field. Juris Doctor (JD) degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in risk management, contract management, vendor management, or related field in the financial services industry. Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex contractual documents and legal language. Sound contract and business judgment; ability to assess risk and balance legal and business considerations. Excellent working knowledge of contract law, concepts, and policies and procedures related to contract management Knowledge of project management principles. Ability to work independently and as part of team. Ability to build and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities according to importance and urgency and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational, time management, communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and...
