Aerotek Warehouse Worker in Council Bluffs, Iowa

Warehouse Worker - pay starting up to $19/hour

Job Description

Forklift operators need to be able to operate a stand-up reach lift in temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit for long periods of time. They will use scanners to keep track of items through WMS software and may need to prepare these items by placing them on pallets, wrapping them, etc. Additionally, they will be responsible for loading or unloading trailers and storing or pulling products off shelving units.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a stand-up reach forklift in -10 degree temperatures for extended periods.

  • Use scanners to track items through WMS software.

  • Prepare items for moving by placing them on pallets and wrapping them.

  • Load and unload trailers.

  • Store or pull products from shelving units.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.

  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment.

  • Must be able to use an RF scanner.

Work Environment

Work in a freezer environment with temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit. The team consists of 30 members. Dress code includes jeans, sweatshirts, gloves, composite toed shoes, and safety glasses. Shift options are available: 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm), 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm), and 3rd shift (10pm - 6am).
