Pay Rate: $25 - $28 / hour

Shift Details :

• Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Behavioral Aide to join our team. The School-Based Behavioral Aide will work closely with students who have behavioral or emotional challenges, providing support and guidance to help them succeed academically and socially. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, a strong understanding of behavioral management techniques, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and administrators to develop and implement individualized behavior plans for students

• Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students in various school settings, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas

• Assist students in developing social skills, coping strategies, and problem-solving skills

• Monitor and document student progress and behavior, and provide feedback to teachers and parents as needed

• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral management techniques

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred

• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school or similar setting

• Knowledge of behavioral management techniques and strategies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently with students
