Health Advocates Network Speech Language Pathologist in Covina, California

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work at a Facility in Covina, CA. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $68 - $85 / hour

Shift Details :

  • Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in a school setting in California. The School SLP will work with students who have communication disorders, speech delays, or language impairments, helping them improve their communication skills and succeed academically. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, relevant licensure in California, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities and identify communication disorders or delays

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students based on assessment results

  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups to improve speech, language, and communication skills

  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' academic and social-emotional needs

  • Monitor student progress, document therapy sessions, and communicate with stakeholders about students' goals and achievements

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Valid California license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred

  • Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of communication disorders and needs

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for speech and language therapy
