BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner with at least 5 years of post-training experience in rural and/or wilderness medicine

Practice Highlights
Two provider primary care clinic
Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm
Provider schedule is four 8-hour days a week in clinic, with up to 15 patients a day
Visiting specialists include Women’s Health, Behavioral Health, Pediatrics, Orthopedics and Cardiology
Support staff includes an RN, Radiology and Lab Techs, Certified MA, PARs, Referral Coordinator

Craig, Alaska, sits on the third largest island in the US in the Southeast part of the state and is accessible by floatplane or ferry from Ketchikan. In the heart of the Tongass National Forest, the island is a temperate rainforest with countless outdoor recreational opportunities. Craig is family-oriented and boasts excellent schools that include public, alternative, and correspondence options; another treasure is the vibrant arts community. Timber, commercial fishing, and fish processing are the major industries, and tourism - including charter fishing, shrimping, crabbing, hunting, wildlife viewing, photography, hiking, and Native Alaskan cultural education - is quickly becoming a vital part of the economy.
With a total population of approximately 3,000, the busy outpatient clinic serves the immediate community and others located on Prince of Wales Island.
Guaranteed first-year income, based on years of direct experience (0-3, 3-5, 5-9, 10+): $164,819.00 - $208,416.00

Education Loan Reimbursement program (if applicable and eligible)
CME: up to $3,300 per calendar year for CME and/or professional dues/fees (based on 1.0 FTE; prorated for lower FTE)
