Westinghouse Electric Company CMT Technician in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 20762 Seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician for a client of ours $16 - 30/hr with additional per diem, company covered expenses, and a company truck! What your day to day looks like: Performs a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures. Operates testing equipment and conducts testing, (example: Soil, concrete or other) and provides assessment of data through reporting Works utilizing drawings, specifications and diagrams Uses specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks Reads and Interprets Plans and Specifications Maintains and calibrates standard equipment Attend project meetings with supervision Maintains detailed documentation and data from test results Communicates effectively with client and project teams Must be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work What we need to see from you: HS Diploma or GED, ACI, ICC, or similar certifications preferred At least a year of related experience or education/certification required Must have Basic Math, Calculator and Computer Skills Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication Must be able to work off shifts and overtime Must have a Valid Driver's License Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits:

Schedule:

10 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday

Experience:

Construction Materials Testing Technicians: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Required) ACI Certification (Required)
