Your Day-to-Day: As a Reload Project Engineer you will be responsible for all project management aspects of Nuclear Fuel Reload Engineering Projects for your assigned customer(s) within our Nuclear Fuel organization. The ideal candidate will be the primary interface to the customer for his/her reload projects and will be responsible for leading small sized teams (up to 15 team members) in cross functional disciplines such as Safety Analysis, Core Engineering, and Software Development.

The candidate will be expected to: Act as primary customer interface for engineering activities including managing external communications, preparing/leading status meetings or other customer meetings, and leading emergent issue response. Act as lead contact for internal communications for the customer. Assume responsibility for gathering customer required responses. Lead internal technical team interactions. Review and understand contractual requirements to ensure project-specific deliverables and customer requests are in compliance with contractual requirements. Perform lead role for business offer activities, including serving as the Technical Input Lead for the offer process. Promptly respond to customer needs to support quick offer turnaround time. Develop and maintain critical working relationships with customer personnel. Act as focal point for customer requests. Proactively manage customer scope change requests. Understand the customer's organization, objectives, and expectations thoroughly, including utility economics. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of business unit products/services. Increase orders by integration of product/service capabilities and directly promote to resolve customer needs. Assume lead responsibility to promptly resolve, often through direct customer contact, scope, deficiency, and schedule conflicts. Assure issues are promptly resolved internally. Maintain critical Westinghouse multi-business unit product line relationships up to and including service manager level, as necessary, for prompt resolution of customer requirement conflicts. Support product line management with allocating resources for routine and emergency situations when necessary to meet customer's needs. Manage project financials to support product line profitability. Assist Project Management Organization in direction and administration of projects.

Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: Bachelor's degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline. Minimum 5years of applicable experience in a technical/engineering role (8 plus years preferred)or equivalent years of experience as a project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction. Broad technical knowledge of nuclear power plants desired.

Preferred 8+ years of experience as a project manager leading and directing medium or high complexity projects to successful completion. 6years in a technical/engineering role and 2 years as a project manager may be considered as equivalent.
