DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION SUMMARY The Product Manager is responsible for managing one or more product lines within the portfolio of printing products, software and related inks for marking on manufactured goods. Responsible for strategic planning through tactical activities and drives innovative product strategies to grow consumer and customer demand, market share, sales and profitability. Interacts with customers and potential buyers, spending time in the market to consolidate market needs with company vision into plans for product development and delivery. Works in tight alignment with business development, product marketing and product support functions to maximize depth of market understanding and effectiveness of product strategy and execution across the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Develops market insights through market, competitive and customer research. * Develops roadmaps, lifecycle plans and release priorities that deliver against product strategy and product vision * Defines target market segments and personas. Identifies and fully understands market/technical applications and develops use cases. * Manages technical requirements and whole product definition, feature prioritization and defect/enhancement triage. * Works with compliance and quality departments to understand and plan for regulatory requirements. * Creates and manages product launch plans and leads cross functional teams for pre-and post-launch activities. * Ensures sales, support and operational readiness for launch and ongoing product success. Trains support and sales engineering functions on product features and benefits for various application scenarios. * Manages financial and market performance of product line(s), including unit and revenue forecasting and performance analysis. * Implements global pricing plans. * Provides subject matter expertise across the organization for target market intelligence and product applications. * Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains, and develops team. * Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related field * Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred * 5+ years progressive product management experience with complex B2B products required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Fluency with mechanical, electrical and/or chemical concepts. Experience in inkjet, industrial automation or manufacturing production applications ideal. * Demonstrated ability to translate information from multiple sources into cohesive decisions. * Regular (20%) travel locally, nationally, and/or internationally is required. * High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications. * Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning) * Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts * Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients * Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. * Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management * Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
