Westinghouse Electric Company Senior Project Engineer in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 15018 Title: Senior Project Engineer The AP Technology Deployment department is looking for 4 senior project engineers to deliver the AP300 product development project. The project engineers will report to the AP300 Project Engineering Manager and be assigned to one or several technical areas. Their specific responsibilities will be as follows: Work with support of Functional Area Lead(s) to ensure progress and scope execution Responsible for the managing the schedule and budgeting Lead point of contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinator Responsible for discipline representation in the Product Development Review Meeting (PDRM) discussed in Section 3.2 Supports the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead as required What we need to see from you: Bachelor's degree in engineering At least 5 years of relevant work experience, previous experience on AP1000 or AP300 preferred Ability to travel internationally as projects require (up to +/- 25% for peak times) Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas: Nuclear systems design Turbine Island/Balance of Plant systems or structural design NSSS components design and analyses Piping layout and/or analysis Licensing Plant layout integration Digital Design (configuration control) Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering Electrical design Effective oral and written communications Ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas Location: anywhere at an existing EMEA or US engineering locations.
