Senior Project Manager

Project leader responsible for managing multiple Procurement programs and projects within the eVinci BU by working with cross-functional teams to implement successful projects within allotted time, resource, and budget requirements. This position will manage procurement programs in capital equipment, services, and special projects to ensure project schedules are met, resources are utilized effectively, and the proper relationships are established between internal and external teams. This role is responsible for cost, schedule, performance, integration, and risk identification/mitigation on procurement projects including, but not limited to, materials, equipment, services, and other activities.

Candidate will interface with internal and external teams: Operations, Materials, Commodity, Engineering, Quality, and external suppliers. Strong relationship skills are required to manage internal and external suppliers to provide timely and innovative solutions to meet the organization's needs.

Job Description:

Provide project direction utilizing the procurement strategy, lead the solicitation of quotations, assist Commodity and project teams with analyzing proposals, insuring completion of project risk assessments, and negotiating project price, delivery, and terms for complex and specialized materials, equipment, and services.

Support Commercial Teams with execution of sourcing strategies to achieve business goals while driving continuous improvement.

Build a strong, value-adding relationship with cross-functional teams to maximize procurement management effectiveness.

Understand all the key operational & commercial elements of strategic and preferred suppliers to effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and long-term plans and actions to internal audience including project team and leadership to support Procurement strategy.

Maintain good working relationships with existing vendors. Assist with disputes, including schedule and quality issues resolution.

Coordinate with Engineering, Business Development, Program Management, Operations, and all other related functions with focus on on-time delivery, quality, cost reduction, inventory management & appropriate translation of customer and/or business unit requirements.

Align with functional stakeholders to incorporate product and manufacturing strategies into contract strategy while gaining leadership support

Ensure compliance within assigned reporting area with all business standards, internal policies, and legal/regulatory requirements.

Prepare and communicate key project milestone updates and risks for key stakeholders

Proactively manage risks and escalate as appropriate for risk mitigation

Cost Leadership: Provide guidance to support the team in building a sourcing strategy considering the Total cost of Ownership (Prices / On time Delivery / Quality, ...) Operational Excellence: Develop and implement processes, Standard works within the organization Cross Functional collaboration: Build "the bridge" with the different department (Engineering, SPE, Global Procurement, internal stakeholders, suppliers) to develop a strong execution plan (E2E) in serving our customer on time. Innovation & Digitalization: Scout the market to identify new technology that create value to the ended customer.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree required (Preferably MBA or MS in any field of engineering) Minimum 5 years of procurement experience (preferably within industries with large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects, with a focus on procurement) Minimum 3 years of experience in leading sourcing projects, including RFI, RFP, RFQ and contract development Strong Negotiating, Benchmarking, Market Analysis, Competitive Intelligence, and Procurement Projects Management skills Experience with vendor management including purchase order issuance, execution, and administration Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze and draw conclusions from quantitative data Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate and engage at all organizational levels, ability to cultivate and sustain high quality professional relationships Ability to work individually or as part of a team environment Must be creative and have strong problem-solving skills along with time-management, prioritizing, planning and self-direction skills Ability to maintain long term productive relationship with suppliers (SRM) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, OneNote, Teams and Project ERP system or similar system experience in a global environment is beneficial (SAP & Ariba) Ability to travel up to 10% This role is a hybrid, with 3 days in Etna PA, and 2 remote.
