Responsibilities
- Gather information and data on our business, market conditions, competitors and consumers
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to discover trends, patterns, and valuable insights
- Interpret data to formulate actionable recommendations that support business strategies
- Collaborate with the product marketing team to determine current business conditions and develop or refine marketing strategies
- Create comprehensive reports and visual representations of data dashboards, charts, reports that effectively communicate business insights to stakeholders
- Maintain and update databases of relevant market data and ensure accuracy and accessibility of information
- Track and predict industry trends, market developments, user behaviors, and mega trends globally
- Monitor economic conditions and regulatory changes that could impact the markets or regions
- Gather and analyze competitors strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and market share
- Identify opportunities and threats in the competitive landscape
- Utilize various data collection methods including business data mining, market reports, surveys, and interviews
- Conduct primary and secondary market research to gather data on market conditions, competitors, and consumer behavior
- Present research findings and insights to senior management and other departments Qualifications Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated data-driven mindset and can understand significant amounts of information and data
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights - Proficiency in statistical software e.g., SPSS, SAS and data visualization tools e.g., Power BI
- Outstanding organization, communication, presentation and leadership through influence skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and execute many tasks in parallel with minimal resources
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Communication skills for gathering and interpreting data and presenting the results to the company
- Critical thinking skills to assess all available information and determine the marketing strategy that is best for a company.
- Detail-oriented in order to complete precise data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excel, PowerPoint, Word Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- This role is offered at two levels, dependent on experience and skill level:Level One: 2 years in marketing, sales, or product development Level Two: 5 years in marketing, sales, or product development Preferred Qualifications:
- Voice of Customer and/or Customer Research experience
- PowerBi Dashboard development and PowerPoint Presentation creation
