SAIC Logistics Analyst in CRANE, Indiana
Description
SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support the U.S. Navy in Crane, IN. This role will provide logistics support for NAVSEA, NAVAIR and WARCOM.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and analyze procurement problems identified by metrics and define potential solutions to provide to the government.
Review instructions, policies, procedures, and manuals according to ISO 9001/2015 and document the difference/conflicting policies, potential ways to improve the various types of documentation and, if required, recommend cancellation of those that are no longer applicable.
Maintain a log, using Microsoft Office Tools, for all quality documentation.
Review and prepare technical specification, quality standards, and other supporting documentation.
Assess Engineering Change Proposal and Request for Variances to ensure conformance to the instructions and directive.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and three (3) years or more logistics experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Excellent communications, organization, and inter-personal skills; must be detail-oriented.
Must be proficient with computers and experienced with Microsoft Office Programs to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Project.
Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and also in a team environment.
REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; Interim Secret needed to start
U.S. citizenship required
