SAIC Logistics Analyst in CRANE, Indiana

Description

SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support the U.S. Navy in Crane, IN. This role will provide logistics support for NAVSEA, NAVAIR and WARCOM.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and analyze procurement problems identified by metrics and define potential solutions to provide to the government.

  • Review instructions, policies, procedures, and manuals according to ISO 9001/2015 and document the difference/conflicting policies, potential ways to improve the various types of documentation and, if required, recommend cancellation of those that are no longer applicable.

  • Maintain a log, using Microsoft Office Tools, for all quality documentation.

  • Review and prepare technical specification, quality standards, and other supporting documentation.

  • Assess Engineering Change Proposal and Request for Variances to ensure conformance to the instructions and directive.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors and three (3) years or more logistics experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • Excellent communications, organization, and inter-personal skills; must be detail-oriented.

  • Must be proficient with computers and experienced with Microsoft Office Programs to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Project.

  • Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and also in a team environment.

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; Interim Secret needed to start

  • U.S. citizenship required
