We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer. This position is contingent upon contract award. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for mechanical design of shipboard radar systems. They should possess expertise in corrosion prevention in marine environment, DC and AC motor design and gear assemblies, in thermal modeling 3D modeling for assessment of mechanical stresses (Vibration, Loading, Therman, etc.)
Education: Master of Science
Experience: 15-20 years of professional experience in the mechanical design of shipboard radar systems.
Clearance: SECRET
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
