SAIC is looking a Program Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN .

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Program Analyst will work to ensure all Lithium Battery Database requirements are met by completing a technical review of all data.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review technical data artifacts about the battery system, converting the technical data into the available database fields, researching to fill in missing data, and validating Information entered into the database.

  • Provide database requirements definition, development, data validation, data entry, quality assurance, training, establishing new users (including handling NDAs), and documentation and reporting needs of programs, and recommend new or improved interfaces and improved management tools that meet new requirements, integration of data with certification process, or improve efficiency.

  • Prepare documentation for population, resolve comments from stakeholders, conduct monthly execution updates, create/maintain/improve/automate reports (including but not limited to Quarterly Metrics Report, Estimate of Fielded Batteries Reporting, and Infographic report).

  • Respond and act on data calls and requests, pursue POCs to gain access to more data or users that could enhance the database and increase its value.

  • Investigate unexpected issues that arise with the database, and notify and work with the appropriate parties in order to resolve.

  • Gather and apply user feedback and work on database cleanup (such as Admin settings/dropdowns).

  • Attend design reviews, technical problem meetings, user conferences, program status reviews and technical interchange meetings.

  • Prepare or modify technical manuals and training for systems, equipment or components to conform to the requirements

  • Prepare manuals and training materials for the Government in camera-ready, digital format, compact disc (CD), electronic or other format.

  • Training will be delivered to the employee, including seminars, workshops, videos, on-the-job training, workplace mentoring/apprenticeships, and internet-based training as well as formal courses and curricula.

  • Some travel expected to conferences, Government locations, and training, including: Washington DC; Carderock, Maryland; Washington Navy Yard, DC; San Diego, CA; Joplin, MO; Henderson, NV

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years’ experience.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, and work well independently and as part of a team.

  • Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience supporting NSWC Crane

  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
