Job Title: Operations and Start-Up Leader

Location: Crete, NE

12+ months assignment

Pay rate: 75-79/hr

About the Role: Join our dynamic team as an Operations and Start-Up Leader, where you'll be at the forefront of supporting capital projects and initiatives to achieve business, schedule, and budget objectives. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external partners to enhance our operational processes, equipment, systems, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the End-to-End Manager to develop project scope, identify risks, and set key milestones.

  • Lead and facilitate critical project workshops such as VSED, Kickstart, Current Operations Assessment, and Project Defect Analysis.

  • Define and document operational requirements and success criteria.

  • Track and provide input on operational budgets and project schedules.

  • Develop and execute ramp-up/start-up plans in coordination with the project team.

  • Plan and lead pre-commissioning/commissioning, qualification, and start-up activities.

  • Create and lead functional testing procedures and Commissioning/Qualification execution.

  • Oversee recruitment, staffing, and training progress.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and support change management.

  • Ensure operational safety and escalate risks when necessary.

  • Ensure line readiness and safety compliance through collaboration with project teams.

  • Monitor the development and implementation of Key Standard Routines, TPM readiness, and 5S.

  • Ensure factory associates are trained and competent before start-up.

  • Facilitate a smooth transition to operations and document handover processes.

  • Achieve business objectives related to line performance, safety measures, and product qualification.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in Project Management, change management and business analysis within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment, or

  • Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in early management, operations, and/or a startup environment.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $79.00 per hour
