Actalent Safety Manager in Crete, Nebraska

Actively seeking an experience Safety Manager. As a Safety Manager, you are tasked with overseeing all safety activities, enforcing safe working practices, and ensuring the safety of all personnel on site. You will coordinate site-specific rules, review safety documents, and be accountable to the corporate head office.

Responsibilities:

  • Cconducting safety surveys, providing training, maintaining safety records, and implementing safety programs.

  • Participate in safety tours, manage the Safety Observation Card program, review daily risk permits, and lead safety committee meetings.

  • Leading by example to promote a culture of safety, managing contractor orientations, reviewing compliance, and contributing to safety planning and incident investigations.

Qualifications:

  • Safety, the ability to manage contractors, and build relationships with various plant personnel.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, or a related field

  • Food Manufacturing Operations Experience

  • 10+ years of construction related experience

  • OSHA 30 Certified Trainer
