Job Title: Production Assembly

Job Description

Join an industry-leading manufacturer as part of our advanced production line team building heavy-duty transit buses. We are currently hiring for the 1st shift and the 2nd shift, which everybody will have to drain on day shift for the first two weeks. As an assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various components and accessories of the buses by reading work orders, blueprints, and schematics. This role includes the use of hand and power tools and requires adherence to safety and quality goals and initiatives as set by leadership. Note, this role also incorporates some computer-related tasks.

Shift times would be: First Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday Second Shift 4:00pm - 12:30am

Starting pay would be from 23.49 for First Shift and 24.59 for the Second Shift

Hard Skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Crookston, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Our work environment can be described as organized chaos. The production line is a large U spanning two large production floors, where a bus shell goes in one end and comes out as a finished bus on the other. The workspace includes tight walkways, two levels, and periods of standing, walking, and sitting. Be aware that large garage doors open periodically throughout the day, affecting temperature conditions. Although we are currently facing some congestion due to Just-in-Time part deliveries, walkways are unobstructed and the environment is clean.
