DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will undertake semi-skilled manual tasks related to construction, maintenance, and repair of state forest infrastructure within a designated area of the Susquehannock State Forest. You will safely utilize various tools for basic construction, maintenance, and repair projects, and may operate trucks, tractors, mowers, and heavy equipment as needed. Conducting preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, as well as working non-standard hours and overtime will be an essential part of your job. Additionally, you will respond to fire calls and assist in fighting wildfires.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

This is a seasonal, full-time position without benefits. The season runs from approximately March until November at which the employee is placed on leave without pay. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Conditions of Employment: This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent. Other Requirements:
