Daylight Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm OR Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm. Flexible start time. Overtime available.

Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the 1st shift at our recycling plant. In this role, you will conduct maintenance duties for the entire plant, including the mobile fleet and rolling stock. Your expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment will ensure smooth operations within our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance duties for the entire plant and mobile fleet

• Change drives, troubleshoot, and repair 3-phase motors

• Replace conveyors and perform preventative maintenance on equipment

• Perform metal fabrication, cutting, and welding as needed

• Troubleshoot and maintain high-speed automation equipment

• Perform maintenance on mobile vehicles

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a quarry, concrete plant, or recycling plant

• Experience with conveyors, shakers, screening machines, and similar equipment

• Proficiency in welding and fabrication

• Experience with 3-phase motors and electrical systems

• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting

• Experience with conveyors, feeders, mills, kilns, and hydraulics is helpful but not required

• PLC troubleshooting experience
