We are hiring an I.T. Help Desk Specialist to join our Athena Health Care Systems team in Farmington!

Schedule is M-F 9a-5p.

In this role, you are responsible for providing technical assistance and support to computer systems, hardware, and software to our managed skilled nursing facilities and hospice services.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.

  • Associate’s degree in Information Systems or Technical Certification and/or one (1) to two (2) years of technical experience is preferred.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide help desk phone and remote support to resolve end-user problems.

  • Responds to phone calls, ticket requests, remote support, problem escalation, and internal documentation of IT systems.

  • Monitor Help Desk ticketing system and provide remote support on a first-in/first-out basis.

  • Escalate support tickets to qualified technicians and deploy onsite support when needed.

  • Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.

  • Support IT with Active Directory group assignment.

  • Document internal procedures.
