Job Description

A non-profit (revenue around 25 million) is looking for an Accounting Manager / future controller to join their team. They have brought most of their accounting back in house after outsourcing for a few years. This person will take over all of the accounting leadership to ensure they have a highly functioning and accurate accounting department.

Additional Responsibilities include:

Full ownership of company Accounting

Oversight of General Ledger, AR, AP, Controls, Policy, Budgeting, Financial Reporting

Communication with Directors and Program Management staff on budget spend for each Grant program

Oversight of funding and reimbursement contracts

Billing get out to the various funders

Make sure things get booked properly- they use the "Class Field" in quick books-

Manager the annual budget

Ability to oversee AR / AP staff (2 people)

Skills and Requirements

Previous Accounting Manager or Controller experience

Experience working in the nonprofit space

Familiarity with billing grants / government entities null
