Amazon internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as class or other employment during the Amazon work day.

Creative Advertising Intern, Amazon MGM Studios Marketing: This intern will gain hands-on experience working with the studio behind break-out shows such as The Summer I Turned Pretty, Reacher, and the award-winning show, The Boys, to name a few. The intern will go in depth and learn about what goes in to building marketing campaigns and how the creative advertising process ties in to the whole process of marketing major TV series and motion pictures.
Marketing Intern, Young Adult (YA) Original Series Marketing: We're seeking an innovative, team-oriented intern with strong communication skills for our YA series marketing team. This intern will support the ideation, planning, and executing of 360 marketing campaigns for Amazon MGM Studios Originals Young Adult Series. The ideal candidate should be passionate about entertainment, adaptable to changing priorities, and eager to learn about marketing in this industry. This internship offers hands-on experience with Amazon Studios, known for shows like Daisy Jones & The Six and The Summer I Turned Pretty. The intern will contribute to marketing strategies for upcoming titles like We Were Liars, the Legally Blonde prequel series, and Carrie.
Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities for the Creative Advertising Intern:
The Creative Advertising intern's project will involve developing approaches, materials, creative assets, and marketing deliverables for Amazon Original series and movies. Working alongside our creative team, the intern will learn what is required to create a streaming tentpole campaign and how to execute it. This experience will encompass various aspects of campaign development, including photoshoots, trailers, key art, digital ad breakouts, social media assets, audiovisual spots, owned and operated placements, filmmaker presentations, and other materials necessary to launch a successful campaign. A strong multitasker who is flexible and adaptable will be ideal for this role.
Key job responsibilities for the YA Marketing Intern:
The marketing intern will be assigned specific titles to support the Young Adult (YA) Series marketing team and help move specific campaigns forward in terms of strategy and 360 campaign development. Responsibilities include script coverage, early insights work around the YA audience segment, and assisting in campaign brief creation, campaign ideation, and marketing plan creation. The intern will also be responsible for an end-of-internship capstone project focused on YA insights, YA audiences, and the intersection of Amazon MGM Studios original YA content. The project will be presented to the YA series marketing team and key marketing leadership.
Basic Qualifications
• Have an expected graduate date between October 2025 - September 2027
• Be able to work 40 hours/week and commit to a 12-week internship
• Are enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Statistics, Data Science, Market Research, or related
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to summarize and communicate important data and opinions.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity
• Strong organizational skills, including prioritization and time management
• Knowledge of industry talent, including established and emerging actors, directors, producers, or YA content and audience
• Knowledge of popular shows and movies across streaming and traditional platforms
• Understanding of TV and film production, casting processes, and industry trends
• Previous internships or experience in studios, talent agencies, or production companies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $40,529/year in our lowest geographic market up to $49,535/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
