Position Summary

As the HR Payroll Manager, you are a highly motivated payroll professional that thrives in a fast-paced environment, have strong experience managing and administering Workday, able to think critically— with an eye for detail and can spot when data is incomplete or inaccurate. In this role, you will be an expert in day-to-day operations, payroll related accounting and will be able to identify optimization opportunities while managing multiple payroll related initiatives (including projects & audits).

You will accomplish this through:

  • Functioning as a liaison between payroll and various internal and external customers to address a wide range of items.

  • Acting as the Payroll SME for related projects.

  • Collaborating cross functionally to assess information needs and system requirements.

  • Providing recommendations regarding system capabilities to develop solutions to meet current and anticipated business needs.

  • Researching and reconciling complex business and/or system problems.

  • Providing comprehensive reporting for analysis, audit, and inter departmental support

  • Monitoring email inquiries from the various partners/channels across the organization and respond timely.

  • Managing payroll related accounting initiatives and supporting finance partners on payroll related matters.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ Years of payroll related experience

  • Proficiency with Workday HRIS

  • Accounting experience/training

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPP or FPC certification preferred

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential

  • Must be able to multitask while maintaining a strong attention to detail

  • Strong in Microsoft Office Suite (strong Access skills preferred)

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science business or related field; equivalent work experience may substitute

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$63,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
