AIML’s Device Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering team is focused on building tools and infrastructure for device data centers. As one of the pioneers in the company for supporting a device data center, we solve very practical and ambitious large-scale problems.

Description

We’re looking for an engineer who wants to bring their passion for building incredible infrastructure to support one of the first device data centers at Apple. You will develop innovative technology to support all of AIML. In this role, you will be building partnerships with all teams across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working experience as a software engineer

  • Working experience with Python, Go Lang, Swift

  • Experience in designing systems with high performance, scalability and availability. Familiarity with public cloud environments like AWS and containerization concept like Docker, Kubernetes

  • Experience in database such as Postgres

Key Qualifications

  • Experience with architecting, leading, and developing projects with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Working experience and deep understanding of full-stack software, object-oriented design, distributed systems, and multi-threading

  • Experience with web front-end development technologies (such as JavaScript, React, Angular, NodeJs, and HTML/CSS)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities

  • Excellent communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative team environment, strong problem-solving skills, critical thinker, and self-starter

  • Ability to design, architect and quickly complete projects with minimal supervision and direction

  • Passion for the customer experience, and obsessive about details

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
