TEKsystems Organizational Change Software Project Manager in Cupertino, California

Job Overview:

Our organization recently went through a reorganization, which has impacted the roles and responsibilities of our team of Engineering Project Managers, as well as the team’s engagement model with stakeholders. We are looking for a change management and process transformation consultant to help us redefine and get stakeholder alignment and adoption on the new way of working.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Change Management Initiative: Facilitate the adjustment and acceptance of the reorganization within the Engineering Project Manager team and partner stakeholders.

• Organizational Development: Assist in defining new team structures, processes, and roles and responsibilities following the reorg to enhance team effectiveness, manage resistance and employee concerns.

• Stakeholder Engagement Strategies: Help develop and implement engagement models with stakeholders in the program office, engineering, and quality teams.

• Process Analysis and Refinement: Conduct analysis of existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and define new the most efficient processes post-reorg.

• Alignment Champions: Develop and execute plans to foster team cohesion and bridge gaps, ensuring clear alignment among team members on goals, priorities, and communication channels.

• Training and Support: Provide training, documentation or workshops focused on the new roles and responsibilities, so that the team and stakeholders are empowered to adopt the changes.

• Communication Management: Support in internal communications to keep team members informed and engaged throughout the transition period.

Deliverables:

• Defined roles and responsibilities for Tentpole Management team and managers.

• Defined engagement model between Tentpole Management team and key stakeholders.

• Change management plan and associated deliverables (roadshow deck, training/documentation) to ensure adoption of new way of working.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Organizational Development and Change Management: Proven track record of leading successful change initiatives within project-driven organizations.

• Process Analysis and Refinement: Experience in analyzing and optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

• Facilitation and Engagement: Strong facilitation skills to lead workshops, meetings, and 1:1 conversations to ensure active participation and alignment.

• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Experience with engaging with stakeholders, including technical teams, executive leads, and cross-functional personnel.

• 'Change Culture': Familiarity with methods to build and maintain a positive 'change culture' within the team and organization.

• Project Management Knowledge: A good understanding of engineering project management principles and practices is valuable.
