Description

The Fitness+ client team is responsible for bringing the experience of Fitness+ workouts to life across Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. We work up and down the stack on the experience when the user is working out, from low level communication to send workout data between devices to the rendering and animation of that data in video overlays, and a lot in between. As an engineer on our team, your primary responsibility will be to develop the app and frameworks for Fitness+. Additionally, your work to bring Apple's products to life will involve close collaboration with our Design, Product Marketing, and QA teams to discuss technical and product decisions. Above all, we value passion when building impactful products. As a driving force behind the Fitness+ experience at Apple, your contributions empower our users to take charge of their health and fitness journeys.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Coding expertise in Swift

  • Experience optimizing applications and profiling throughout the stack

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners

  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

  • Deep commitment to product quality

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
