Apple is looking for a dynamic, highly-motivated Business Planning Analyst to join the US Education Sales team. Our US Education Sales team is responsible for the care, development, and growth of Apple’s existing K-12 and Higher Education accounts, as well as driving increased market share through the acquisition of new customers. You will support the business planning team in all facets of its work to drive and develop sales actions to support a multi-billion dollar business, including strategic planning, market and sales analytics, identifying standard methodologies, as well as special projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and wants to gain experience in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. Success in the role requires an ability to work effectively and efficiently across a global sales organization.
Description
In this role, you will: - Analyze key factors impacting important market segments (industry structure, competitive behavior, customer behavior, ecosystem economics, etc.) - Lead the development and execution of business strategies and business cases for new initiatives that support long-term organizational growth - Drive and manage high-visibility projects from ideation to completion, ensuring alignment with both internal and customer-facing business objectives. - Collaborate with business planning leads to evaluate current and potential trends/events, and support the development of long-term, annual, and quarterly sales priorities and action plans. - Conduct in-depth financial and performance analysis to assess the effectiveness of new initiatives and business strategies. - Help craft executive presentations that deliver key insights about the business and support recommended sales actions - Facilitate discussions and presentations, effectively communicating complex business strategies and outcomes. - Design and maintain analytical dashboards using Tableau and other tools to continuously monitor business performance. - Lead special projects that drive innovation, business growth, and strengthen customer relationships.
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic planning, project management, and business development.
Proven experience in business development with a focus on customer engagement and identifying growth opportunities.
Strong project management skills with a track record of running cross-functional innovation initiatives.
Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform business strategy and drive new initiatives.
Experience using Tableau and Salesforce for dashboard and report creation.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Background in K20 Education in the United States, understanding market dynamics and customer insights for technology
Background in Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, or similar analytical/business intelligence field
Experience working with global teams to deliver complex initiatives across sales strategy and sales operations
Ability to define, extract, and manipulate data to build reports, data visualization dashboards, and translate insights into actionable results through storytelling
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate analysis clearly
Ability to aggregate information from multiple sources to formulate a cohesive strategy or direction
Strong organization skills and attention to detail; Ability to prioritize, manage, and advance multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to quickly establish trust, credibility, and influence across a variety of cross-functional and multi-directional partners

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
