Rite-Solutions, Inc Cloud Engineer in Dahlgren, Virginia
Rite Solutions has an opportunity for a Cloud Engineer to support our DoD client at NSWC in Dahlgren, VA. The Cloud Engineer will provide capabilities to support the customer with rapid design, development, test, deployment, maintenance and operation of specific software and hardware capabilities to meet current Cyber Defensive needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and build components encompassing network, security, identity, governance, development, and operations in Customer's environments.

``` - Operationalize solutions from proof-of-concept through production using automation for repeatability, maintainability, and to enforce standards beginning with automated testing progressing through the Dev/Ops pipeline to automated deployment.

``` - Recommend and if approved use emerging tools and methodologies to automate existing processes and design new virtualized and cloud-based infrastructures based on infrastructure as code mindset; script and deploy infrastructure components.

``` - Provide insight into and knowledge of the latest virtualized and cloud, technology, solutions, industry trends, and best practices.

``` - Provide insight into and knowledge of the latest DevOps, technology, solutions, industry trends, and best practices.

``` - Provide options for leveraging DevSecOps processes with firmware and hardware components.

``` - Develop proof-of-concept prototypes using automation for repeatability, maintainability, and to enforce standards, cyber security, and program safety.
Position Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship and an Active or Interim Secret Clearance?

``` - Bachelor's Degree (in an engineering, scientific, or technical?discipline)
```{=html}
``` - Working knowledge of cross-domain solutions (CDS) implementations and capabilities

``` - Deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, services, and hybrid-cloud strategies.
```{=html}
``` - Ability to document and create repeatable standard processes, tools, and frameworks for adoption at scale.
```{=html}
``` - Customer-centered mentality with a strong focus on delivering value to customers.
```{=html}
``` - Impeccable organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

``` - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.

``` - 5 or more years of experience building cloud architecture with AWS, Azure or GCP
```{=html}
``` - Experience working in software integration to hardware platforms.
```{=html}
``` - Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates, and key management
```{=html}
``` - Experience with multi-cloud implementations and cloud agnostic automation/orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
