Akima Human Resources Staffing and Recruitment - Program Analyst in Dahlgren, Virginia
The successful candidate will provide on-site support at NSWC Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia for day-to-day operations of the Corporate Operations Department, Human Resources, Staffing/Classification in the area of Staffing, Classification and Recruitment efforts.
Responsibilities
Provides support for the NSWC Dahlgren Division HR office.
Provides support in the staffing and hiring of new employees to include tracking hiring action status updates, utilizing SharePoint or other computer-based tools to manage hiring status.
Utilizes the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) to review and analyze employee’s employment records and history and to process personnel actions for new hires and current employees.
Utilizes Onboarding Manager (OM) to manage offers of employment, pre-employment tasking and other onboarding requirements.
Provides knowledgeable support responding to employee’s Human Resources related inquiries on topics such as their position, benefits, leave, pay, etc.
Reviews and analyzes SF-50s for accuracy and correctness after processing and taking corrective action when necessary.
Provides HR support for New Employee Orientation (NEO) in welcoming new hires, reviewing onboarding documents and presenting HR materials during NEO.
Qualifications
Must hold an active DoD-issued Interim-Secret (or higher) security clearance.
Associate degree in Human Resources or related business degree, or three plus years of work-related experience
HR recruitment, training implementation and management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Federal recruitment and hiring process experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams)
Detail-oriented.
Customer-focused
Working knowledge of Navy ERP
DCPDS familiarity
