This Principal Electrical Engineer position supports Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) B Department – Electromagnetic and Sensor Systems.

Responsibilities

V2X is hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) with development of electromagnetic compatibility models using DevSecOps practices and a variety of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) techniques. Additional activities included supporting business development pursuits and mentorship of engineers.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related STEM degree.

  Experience:

• 15+ years in the following:

• Modeling and Simulation (M&S) of Spectrum Dependent Systems

• Signal Processing Tool Development

• RF System Capabilities Analysis

• RF Testing (MIL-STD-461/464)

• Systems Integration

• Spectrum Policy

  Skills & Technology Used:

• EMI Testing

• ESC & SSRA Software tools, documentation, analysis and report development

• Modeling and Simulation software tools for Electromagnetic Compatibility

• RF Test Equipment: Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Network Analyzer, etc.

  Clearance Requirement:

• Candidates for this position must be U.S. Citizens and possess an active DoD SECRET level Security Clearance.

• Salary Range:

• $160,000 – 195,000 (The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation for locations in the Dahlgren, VA area).
