Hillcrest Property Services is a full-service provider of multifamily residential property needs, including unit renovations, complex or R&M heavy unit turns, and procurement of POST Real Estate Group. Hillcrest is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects for multi-family apartment buildings nation-wide. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating all activities related to the successful execution of interior construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities • Manage overall project from initiation to closeout, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, field construction team, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and executed. • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. • Prepare and submit orders for materials • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and complete project closeout including financial reconciliation. • Ensure that all project documentation such as contracts, change orders, and other agreements are properly executed and maintained. • Create schedules and determine sequencing of work, while developing and implementing recovery strategies to maintain project schedule. • Evaluate job progress and prepare detailed reports. • Participate in all project consultation meetings. • Attend and document Owner / Architect / Contractor meetings. • Respond to customer, architect, and contractor RFIs. • Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred. • Minimum of 5-10 years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. • Multifamily renovation experience. • Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills. • Organized and detail oriented. • Experience in generating RFI/RFQ, project budgeting, construction cost estimates, and financial reconciliation. • Proficient with Windows operating systems, Construction management applications, and standard MS Office software. • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects on various sites. • Ability to identify problems and resolve issues in a quick and timely manner.
