JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Wilkes-Barre Continuing Education is seeking a part-time Instructor to join our team in delivering basic computer training.

This position requires a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping working professionals develop essential computer skills. Commitment to excellence in higher education required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer basics, including software applications, operating systems, and internet navigation, coupled with the ability to convey these concepts to learners at all levels.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting engaging classes, and evaluating student progress. Experience in adult education or a related field is preferred.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the content area, relevant professional experience, and past teaching experience. Instructional formats include day or evening, and traditional, accelerated, online or remote delivery via technology.
