TEKsystems 100% Remote- Default Loan Quality Review Specialist in Dallas, Texas

Conducting in-line review or claims after they have been prepared for accuracy prior to submission. Responsible for reviewing supporting invoices, breakdowns, ledgers, and applicable foreclosure, property preservation, bankruptcy, and loss mitigation documents in accordance with the applicable insurer, investor, and/or master servicing guidelines in a timely and efficient manner and documenting errors as necessary to maintain the quality of the claim filing.

• Reviews financial transactions, packages and/or documents submitted for accuracy specific to the Claims filing package

• Contacts appropriate internal/external contacts if documents are missing or incorrect

• Documents any errors or deficiency in the filing packages and/or documents and sends back to agent to submit or correct.

• Complies with and have working knowledge of FHA, VA, PMI, investor, client, and master servicer rules and regulations

• Performs regular reviews of all cases/claims/documents on a regular basis

• Assists Specialists in the Claims department in resolving basic issues related to general insurer and investor guidelines

• Reviews appeals, and supplemental documents and reports ensuring all work was performed according to established procedures

• Monitors accounts identified as high risk; recommends and helps facilitate appropriate course of action to mitigate potential exposure

• Helps prepare and distribute monthly Claims quality scorecards and resolve disputes

• Satisfies audit requests

• Periodically assesses policies and procedures and advises management on improvement opportunities

• Completes daily tracking review to maintain production levels within department

• Assists in the training of new employees

• Completes other duties and projects as assigned by management

• Leads calibration calls and reports back to management

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Claims analysis and preparation

  • Default claims- GSE loans

  • Must be very strong in Excel and have used Vlookup and Pivot Tables on a consistent daily basis. Most of the work is done using excel and is manual in nature.

  • Other helpful technology tools to look up: CMAX, Venderscape, Docuware, Assurant, Safegaurd, Meta, GFX Wires, USDA claims site, Moveit, Synergy, Quality Claims, and iDesk application, Access, SiteX, Lotus Notes, REOTrans, CARES, Value Finder, Equator, Certus, SOX, New Invoice, Auction.com, LPS, AS400, SharePoint, Documentum, TRAX, SERFS, CIM7, Cognos, RemedyStar, FileNet, Neighborhood Watch, LoanIQ, QuickBooks

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $38.00
