Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Dallas, Texas

Description In need of an Accounting Manager to join a forward-looking company, Robert Half is searching for an individual that is eager, ambitious, and experienced. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Ideally, you will be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every single day

  • Team up with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

  • Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants

  • Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses

  • Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

  • Play key role in implementation of NetSuite Financials including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

  • Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines

  • Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes Requirements - 5+ years of recent relevant financial experience

  • Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Control

  • Experience with financial statement preparation

  • Foundational knowledge in Cash Flow Forecasts

  • Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger

  • Command of Quickbooks Online

  • Adeptness in month end closings

  • Strong familiarity with Cash Flow Analysis

  • Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers

  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

  • Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities

  • CPA or MBA preferred
