This award-winning business litigation boutique law firm is recruiting Associates to join their team in Dallas, Texas. This role involves working on various aspects of civil litigation, including business disputes, financial institution issues, labor, employment, and product liability litigation. The successful candidate will support Partners handling business, financial institution, labor, employment, and product liability litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct case management and fact investigations to support our litigation team.

• Prepare and oversee drafting of pleadings, motions, notices, and written discovery documents.

• Participate in all stages of the litigation process, including strategy development, fact finding, preparation of legal documents, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, mediation, and trial.

• Attend case conferences, depositions, hearings, trials, mediations and arbitrations.

• Conduct legal research and draft substantive legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.

• Use Case Management Software and Document Management systems to maintain and organize case files.

• Attend sponsored firm events and business conferences on behalf of the team.

• Utilize skills in Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Employment Litigation, and Litigation - Defense to effectively handle cases.

• Assist in conducting inspections and investigations as part of the fact-finding process.

Requirements

• Holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the State Bar of Texas

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a litigation legal practice.

• Proficiency in case management software.

• Demonstrated ability in briefing and presenting legal cases.

• Experience in civil litigation practices.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience on handling cases through the entire life of the case from developing strategy, taking/defending depositions all the way to trial

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Excellent research and analytical skills.
