Job Title: Billing Specialist
Location: Onsite in Dallas, TX
Compensation: $65,000-75,000/year (depending on experience)
Job Summary:
Jefferson Wells is seeking a motivated Billing Specialist to join the finance department of a law firm in Dallas, TX. This full-time, onsite role offers remote flexibility (1 day per week) after 90 days. Reporting to the Controller and collaborating with a team of five, the Billing Specialist will support the entire billing cycle, including generating and editing pre-bills, creating client invoices, and managing all aspects of billing for litigation and other legal matters.
Requirements:
High school diploma with 1+ year of billing experience, including electronic billing, submissions, budgeting, and appeals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal billing software (specifically Thomson Elite 3E) strongly preferred
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Eager to learn, collaborative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
